CAE and CPE are different certificates. You can pass exam at British Council in Moscow, but before you need to apply and pay money for passing the exam. CAE - Certificate in Advanced English and CPE - Certificate in Proficiency English. British Council developed a system of certificates: PET (preliminary English test), KET (Key english test), FCE (First certificate in English), CAE and CPE. CAE is easier then CPE but even those who have FCE and CAE need to prepare a lot to pass CPA. Publishing corporations (Oxford, Cambridge, Macmillan) publish special books for self-studing and preparing to these tests. Also it is possble to buy tests (examples). So to pass these exams you need to have an advanced level of English and it will be great if you will study with the teacher who already has CAE or CPE. I know. I am absolutely sure that I'm able to pass CAE with ease, but if this takes going to blasted Moscow (several times!!), spending much time and money, then what if I begin with CPE right away, not to waste energy.. Bur there a chance appears that I won't pass it...
